Ingredients
5 oz pitted kalamata and/or green olives, drained and each cut lengthwise in half (about ¾ cup)
3/4 cup drained hot and/or mild banana pepper rings
3 Tbs Italian salad dressing
6 hoagie rolls
6 Tbs mayonnaise
4 oz sliced Genoa salami
3 oz sliced prosciutto
6 slices provolone cheese, each cut in half
thin slices ham (about 6 ounces)
3 medium vine ripened tomatoes, sliced
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
1 1/2 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
6 queen pimento-stuffed Spanish olives (optional)
6 toothpicks (optional)
Directions

1. In medium bowl, combine olives, banana peppers and dressing. Slice rolls completely in half.

 

2. On bottom half of each roll, spread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise. Over mayonnaise, layer ¹/6 each of the salami, prosciutto, provolone, ham, mozzarella, tomatoes, onion, olive mixture and lettuce. Garnish sandwiches with pimento-stuffed olive secured with toothpicks, if desired.
